In Quimper, an electrical fire started in a bakery oven of the Intermarché hypermarket on the same day, leading to the evacuation of shoppers and the adjoining shopping gallery. Firefighters, utility crews and municipal police secured the site; the store remained closed for the rest of the day while the gallery reopened later in the evening.
