Internacional and Grêmio resume training for upcoming Brasileirão matches

Following their recent Copa do Brasil quarter-final clash, both Rio Grande do Sul clubs have returned to training to prepare for upcoming Campeonato Brasileiro fixtures.

Internacional began preparations for their match against Bahia at the Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova this Sunday. The squad will be missing Gabriel Mercado, Paulinho, and Bruno Gomes due to suspensions, while Allex is sidelined with a thigh injury. The club's upcoming schedule also includes a return Gre-Nal leg in the Copa do Brasil and a match against Santos.

Grêmio resumed training at the Presidente Luiz Carvalho Training Center to prepare for their Sunday match against Chapecoense in Porto Alegre. Due to heavy rain in the capital, some activities, including video analysis and strength training, were conducted indoors. Currently in 15th place, Grêmio aims to secure a victory against the bottom-ranked Chapecoense to move further away from the relegation zone.
