Internacional and Botafogo face decisive Brasileirão clash

Internacional and Botafogo are set to face each other this Saturday at the Beira-Rio stadium for the 32nd round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The match carries significant implications for both clubs' standings.

Internacional, currently in 17th place with 32 points, is fighting to escape the relegation zone. To do so, they must secure a victory and hope for a result from Corinthians against Vasco. The squad faces several absences due to suspensions, including Matheus Cunha, Gabriel Mercado, Rodrigo Villagra, and Vitinho, though Alan Patrick and Guillermo Maripán are expected to return.

Botafogo enters the match in 11th place with 39 points, following a recent victory over Chapecoense. Under the management of Tite, the team has seen improved morale and stability, with attacker Matheus Martins establishing himself as a consistent starter. Botafogo aims to use this momentum to climb higher in the table and secure a position in continental competitions.
