Internacional proposes loan for AEK Athens attacker Niclas Eliasson

Internacional has submitted a formal proposal to AEK Athens to acquire Swedish-Brazilian attacker Niclas Eliasson. The offer consists of a loan agreement with a purchase option.

The financial terms of the loan include a €300,000 fee to be paid in three installments between September 2026 and June 2027. The proposal includes a purchase option valued at approximately €2.8 million, which would be paid in four installments between 2027 and 2029. If the purchase option is exercised, the initial loan fees would be deducted from the final price.

Eliasson, 30, is reportedly positive about the move to Brazil. While Internacional is focused on Eliasson, the club is also negotiating for Congolese striker Cédric Bakambu to strengthen its offensive line. Technical director Abel Braga described the club's transfer window efforts as “making miracles” given their limited investment capacity.

Other Brazilian clubs, including Botafogo and Atlético-MG, have shown interest in Eliasson, but Internacional has taken the most concrete steps toward a deal.
