Ramadan 2027 expected to begin February 8

Astronomical calculations indicate that Ramadan 1448 AH is projected to begin on Monday, February 8, 2027. This estimate is based on the central conjunction of the moon, also known as the new moon, which is expected to occur on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at 15:56 UTC.

While these astronomical projections provide a timeline, the official start of the holy month remains subject to the physical sighting of the crescent moon according to established religious and legal procedures. Depending on whether the month lasts 29 or 30 days, Eid Al Fitr is estimated to fall on either March 9 or March 10, 2027.
