International Computer Music Conference celebrates 50th anniversary with new compilation

Ravello Records has released ‘ICMC: Best of the Listening Rooms’, a digital compilation celebrating the 50th anniversary of the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC). The collection features ten works from global composers that explore themes of technology, ecology, and human experience through electroacoustic, electronic, and experimental musical expressions.

The project is presented by the International Computer Music Association (ICMA) and was co-hosted by a network of Boston-based institutions, including Northeastern University, New England Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Emerson College, with support from MIT.
