International conferences scheduled for Mostar and Sisak in 2026

Two international professional conferences are scheduled to take place in late 2026, focusing on medical technology and industrial engineering.

The 5th International Radiological Symposium will be held in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on November 20–21, 2026. Organized by the Association of Radiologists in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the University of Mostar Faculty of Health Studies, and the Sanus Motus Association, the event focuses on new technologies in radiological diagnostics. The program includes lectures for medical imaging engineers and specialists, as well as a course on ultrasound diagnostics using contrast. The symposium will feature 17 speakers from three countries.

The 1st SIMTECH International Conference on Metallurgy, Materials and Occupational Safety will take place in Sisak, Croatia, on October 22–23, 2026. Organized by the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Metallurgy, the conference theme is ‘Materials as the Foundation of Engineering Safety’. It aims to connect academia with industry to discuss topics such as the green transition in European metallurgy, mental health in the workplace, personal protective equipment, and the circular economy. The event will include approximately 30 scientific and professional presentations.
