International crime: Cocaine seizure in Ecuador and major art theft in France
Authorities in Ecuador intercepted a fruit container in the port city of Machala containing over two tons of cocaine. According to Interior Minister John Reimberg, the narcotics shipment was destined for Sweden.
In France, masked individuals stole paintings valued at over 100 million SEK from the Auguste Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The theft was discovered via surveillance footage, which showed two suspects entering the building before fleeing with the artwork. No suspects have been identified at this time.
