International Day of Scientific Culture was observed with various initiatives aimed at promoting scientific literacy and the democratization of knowledge.
In Spain, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) led efforts to highlight the importance of scientific outreach. Carmen Rodríguez-Blázquez, a researcher at the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII), emphasized that bringing science to society is essential for fostering critical thinking and combating the spread of fake news and misinformation.
In Argentina, the National University of La Plata (UNLP) hosted the V Meeting on the Popularization of Sciences. The event focused on creating dialogue between research, education, and the community to ensure broader access to knowledge.
