International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam announces 2026 updates

The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) has announced the lineup for its 2026 Competition for Short Documentary.

In conjunction with the festival, the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC) is organizing a delegation of eight emerging and mid-career filmmakers to attend the event in Amsterdam this November. Supported by Global Affairs Canada, Telefilm, the Indigenous Screen Office, and the Black Screen Office, the cohort will present documentary projects to international industry decision-makers during a special showcase.
