International Education Forum to address new pedagogical challenges

The VII International Forum on New Challenges in Education is scheduled to take place on October 5. Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Education, the event will be held in a hybrid format to discuss modern pedagogical approaches and human-centered learning environments.

Key topics include emotional balance, conscious perception, student well-being, pedagogical design of school environments, behavioral architecture, and digital wellness. The forum aims to explore how to balance high academic expectations with student welfare and how to transition learners from being mere knowledge absorbers to conscious thinkers.

Distinguished speakers include Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the OECD; Anoshirvan Mianchi, a coordinator and writer; Gert Guriev, an architect specializing in Estonian educational institutions; Mike Trumane, General Secretary of the Singapore Teachers Union; and Augustin Porres, Director of the Varkey Foundation. The event will also feature a Q&A session with Professor Ziya Selçuk.
