International film screenings light up Sinj and Cetinje

In Sinj, Croatia, the Kino Palke cultural centre hosted the final 2023‑24 South‑American film cycle with a free screening of *Pjesnik* (El poeta, 2025). The 123‑minute co‑production from Colombia, Germany and Sweden follows the poet Oscar Restrepo and was previously awarded a jury prize at Cannes. The event is funded by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, the City of Sinj and the Kultura nova foundation.

In Cetinje, Montenegro, the European Film Festival organized by the EU Delegation and Cineuropa presented the Romanian drama *Tri kilometra do kraja svijeta* (Three Kilometres to the End of the World). Directed by Emanuel Pârvu, the 105‑minute film about a teenager named Adi premiered at Cannes 2024, winning the Queer Palm and the Sarajevo Heart award, and was Montenegro’s free‑entry showcase with local subtitles.
