International football break sees player successes and injuries

The September-October international football break has resulted in a mix of high-level performances and significant injury concerns for major European clubs.

Manchester City players have seen varied results. Erling Haaland has been productive for Norway, recording three goals in three appearances. Rúben Dias has also completed 270 minutes for Portugal. However, the club faces a setback with Nico O’Reilly, who withdrew from the England squad due to injury.

Several top stars have also faced injury issues during their international duties. Manchester United is managing multiple concerns, including Noussair Mazraoui and a complicated injury for Bruno Fernandes, who was reported to be playing through pain. Other notable injuries include Denmark’s Patrick Dorgu and Germany’s Kai Havertz, who was forced to withdraw from his squad.
