International forums address multipolar politics and digital security
Former Montenegrin President Milo Đukanović participated in the 30th anniversary Forum 2000 conference in Prague. During a panel titled ‘Small States and Middle Powers in a Multipolar World,’ Đukanović discussed Montenegro’s democratic development and its European and Euro-Atlantic path amidst shifting international orders and rising authoritarianism.
Separately, the second Global Digital Forum was held in Moscow, bringing together representatives from over 100 countries. The forum focused on international information security, information and communication technology cooperation, and digital sovereignty. Participants highlighted the importance of the UN Convention on Cybercrime, an initiative led by Russia that has already been signed by 94 nations to assist law enforcement in combating the illegal use of technology.
