IFPA CEO to address industry trends at 2026 Global Produce & Floral Show
International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) CEO Cathy Burns will deliver the annual State of the Industry address to open the 2026 Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando, Florida, on October 14.
The keynote will address several interconnected global challenges, including food safety, rebuilding consumer trust following foodborne illness outbreaks, trade and supply chain volatility, sustainability, climate change, and the integration of artificial intelligence. Burns emphasized that these issues are part of a single global system and noted that “fresh products move at the speed of trust.”
The 2026 show will follow a new midweek schedule, running from Wednesday, October 14, through Friday, October 16, following member feedback to better accommodate business needs. The event is expected to host over 20,000 global decision-makers and more than 1,000 exhibitors.
