International medical science congresses held in Honduras and Mexico

The Universidad Cristiana Evangélica Nuevo Milenio (UCENM) in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, hosted its first International Health Sciences Congress on October 24 and 25, 2026. Led by Rector Dr. H. C. María Antonia Fernández de Suazo, the event gathered specialists, educators, and students to discuss medical diagnosis, innovation, and comprehensive healthcare.

In Mexico, the Universidad de Guanajuato (UG) launched its 26th International Meeting of Medical Sciences. The event also served as the venue for the VI Meeting of the Latin American DOHaD Regional Society from October 26 to 28 at the León Campus. The meeting focused on the evolutionary origins of health and disease, addressing critical issues such as obesity, chronic degenerative diseases, and aging populations.
