International Ocean Film Tour concludes in Lanzarote

The twelfth edition of the International Ocean Film Tour will conclude its European tour on October 30 and 31 at the Jameos del Agua auditorium in Lanzarote. The event follows a five-month tour across 17 Spanish cities, including Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and Fuerteventura.

The final program features five international documentaries focused on adventure, personal achievement, and environmental conservation. Featured films include ‘Christa Funk: pasión por las olas’, documenting a surf photographer in Hawaii; ‘A Different Beast’, following three Scottish siblings rowing across the Pacific; ‘Up the Coast’, exploring the South African coast; ‘La última inmersión’, depicting a bond between an octogenarian diver and a manta ray in Mexico; and ‘Home Is the Ocean’, about a Swiss family living on a sailboat.

The screenings will include original versions with Spanish subtitles, sign language interpretation, and special guests, aiming to raise awareness about ocean conservation.
