International Padel Federation establishes World Padel Day

The International Padel Federation (FIP) and Premier Padel have officially designated October 20 as World Padel Day. The announcement highlights the sport's rapid global expansion, with the World Padel Report 2026 estimating approximately 40 million amateur players across 191 countries and territories.

According to the FIP, there are currently more than 91,000 courts worldwide, representing a growth of over 20% compared to the previous year. The report also notes significant gender diversity, with women accounting for 47% of the total player base. The federation's primary strategic goal is to secure the sport's inclusion in the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
