Regional arts festivals conclude with major award announcements

Several cultural festivals in the region have concluded with various award ceremonies. At the International Puppet Festival in Podgorica, the production ‘Alisini snovi’ (Alice's Dreams) was awarded the Grand Prix. The children's jury selected ‘Žižula i Čičak’ as the best production, while Nina Teatar from Italy received a special jury prize.

The 11th Džada Film Fest also concluded its program. The film ‘Honey Bunny / Koke’ by Igor Jelinović was named the best debut feature film. In the short film category, ‘Over the Threshold / Preko praga’ by Tara Gajović received the main award.

Additionally, the 4th Zadar Monodrama Festival saw the production ‘Contra Mundum’ from the Tivat Cultural Center win both the Audience Award for best production and a special jury prize for overall artistic impression. Nataša Janjić Medančić was awarded the ‘Teodora Vigato’ prize for best female role in the production ‘Prima Facie’.
