International Sherry Week to feature 3,625 events across 22 countries

The 13th edition of International Sherry Week is scheduled to take place from November 2 to November 8, featuring 3,625 registered events across 22 countries. Organized by the Regulatory Council of the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda denominations, the global celebration includes tastings, pairing dinners, cocktail sessions, and winery tours.

The United Kingdom currently holds the highest volume of participation with over 2,300 scheduled gastronomic activities. The program features 14 Sherry Routes in cities such as London, Edinburgh, Tokyo, Washington D.C., and São Paulo.

In Spain, significant activities include the Sherry Cocktail Sessions across Madrid, Barcelona, and Málaga, involving more than 35 establishments. Additional Sherry Routes will be held in Madrid, Seville, Bilbao, and Jerez. In Jerez, the programming will focus on both wineries and the historic center, coinciding with World Enotourism Day with professional sessions and cultural experiences.
