Daniel 1 wins 38th The Bodrum Cup sailing race

The 38th edition of The Bodrum Cup concluded in Muğla, Turkey, with the vessel Daniel 1 claiming the general classification championship. The sailing event featured approximately 1,000 sailors and 90 boats competing across a 79-nautical-mile course spanning five stages, including routes from Bodrum to Knidos, Ortakent, and Yalıkavak.

In addition to the main championship, Daniel 1 also secured the Challenge Cup and the Bodrum Municipality Fidel Berber Special Award. Other category winners included MIHO DS for the Year Special Cup, Atlas G for the Cruiser Cup, and Beliz G for the Fastest in Bodrum award.

The event also highlighted the 25th anniversary of the Bodrum Ship, a sailing school vessel under the Bodrum and Carian Region Culture, Art and Promotion Foundation (BOSAV). Proceeds from the SumOne collection sales and the closing Pinhani concert were donated to BOSAV to support the ship's ongoing maintenance and renovation efforts.
