International University of Greece fills all seats as top Cypriot students set sights on Greek universities

The International University of Greece reported complete enrollment for the new academic year, with 3,675 of 3,740 places filled (98.18% coverage). The university ranked sixth among Greek institutions in overall seat occupancy, noting significant increases in entry scores for engineering and polytechnic programs. Rector Prof. Stamatios Angelopoulos praised the achievement as a collective success and emphasized the university’s modern, internationally oriented curriculum.

In Cyprus, three high‑school students from Limassol achieved perfect scores of 20 in the Pan‑Cypriot exams. Two girls, Chara Orfanou and Semeli Hadjizava, and one boy, Christos Kalivitis, topped the results and are awaiting admission outcomes from Greek universities, with a preference for the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. They highlighted the intensive study and rest balance that helped them succeed.
