International Yoga Day celebrations in Argentina and Spain

In Paraná, Argentina, the International Yoga Day was marked on 20 June with a free holistic day at the La Vieja Usina cultural centre and the Domo Interactivo MiradorTec. Organized by YogAsana Comunidad and supported by the Entre Ríos provincial culture ministry, more than 350 people pre‑registered to attend yoga classes, guided meditations, health talks, live music, a conscious market and other wellness activities.

A day later, on 21 June, San Fernando, Spain hosted a beach yoga session at Camposoto beach. The event, run by the Centro Avatar together with Vivirga Yoga and the local sports board, featured the traditional “108 saludos al sol” (108 sun salutations) followed by a communal brunch. It was open to the public, inviting participants of all skill levels to practice yoga beside the Atlantic Ocean.

Both events highlighted community‑wide promotion of physical and mental well‑being as part of the global International Yoga Day observance.
