Ferrara hosts 20th Internazionale journalism festival

The 20th edition of the Internazionale a Ferrara journalism festival is taking place in Ferrara, Italy, from October 2 to 4, 2026. The event brings together over 200 information professionals from more than 30 countries to discuss contemporary issues including artificial intelligence, collective memory, feminism, global conflicts, and migration.

Featured participants include authors and activists such as Sarah Ahmed, Jon Lee Anderson, and Nicola Lagioia. The festival program includes a seminar organized by the Order of Journalists and the Emilia-Romagna Journalists Foundation, which will analyze journalistic narratives regarding war and global emergencies.

Gruppo FS is also participating in the festival with two dedicated sessions. One event focuses on the railway profession for children, explaining the responsibilities of a train driver, while a second panel, ‘Sul binario giusto’, will discuss the return of international trains and their role in connecting Europe amidst climate and geopolitical challenges.
