Internet Hotline and Kék Vonal release support for online abuse victims

The Internet Hotline legal aid service of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) and the Kék Vonal Child Crisis Foundation have released four free psychological support resources for victims of online abuse and their relatives.

The publications provide practical and psychological guidance for specific scenarios, including the theft of intimate photos, online financial fraud resulting in loss of savings, online sexual abuse of children, and supporting parents when a minor is a victim of online sexual abuse. The initiative aims to address the deep psychological impact of these incidents, such as shame and fear, which often persist even after legal or technical assistance has been provided.
