Internetstiftelsen survey finds 80% of people struggle with mobile scrolling
A large-scale survey conducted by Internetstiftelsen reveals that 80 percent of respondents feel they get stuck scrolling on their mobile devices for excessive periods. Many participants reported that this behavior has a negative impact on their mental well-being.
Jannike Tillå, head of Internetstiftelsen, noted that the issue is not merely the act of scrolling itself, but the perceived inability to stop when one intends to. The findings have prompted discussions regarding the design of digital environments and their impact on both children and adults.
