Internorm and QUOMATIC receive EDISON ALVA Award for AI cooperation

Internorm and the Upper Austrian AI startup QUOMATIC have been honored with the EDISON ALVA special prize at the EDISON 2026 awards. The recognition highlights successful cooperation between an established industrial company and a technology-driven startup in implementing innovative technologies into practical business processes.

A key application of this partnership is Internorm’s digital customer advisory service. The AI-driven tool assists customers in determining which window products best suit their specific living situations by analyzing factors such as heat efficiency, sound insulation, security, and materials.

The technology utilizes data from approximately 55,000 individual customer consultations to identify recurring decision patterns. This allows the system to recommend relevant product characteristics for users with similar requirements, serving as a preliminary decision-making foundation to support, rather than replace, personal professional consultations.
