Interplast 2026 trade fair projects R$ 600 million in business

The 13th edition of Interplast, a major trade fair and congress for the plastic technology industry, concluded in Joinville, Santa Catarina. Recognized as the largest event of its kind in Latin America, the fair hosted 400 exhibitors, over 1,000 brands, and approximately 35,000 visitors.

Business projections for the event suggest a generation of approximately R$ 600 million in deals over the next 12 months. The event demonstrated significant international and national reach, with over 40% of attendees coming from outside Santa Catarina, representing 25 Brazilian states and 35 countries, including China, the United States, Germany, and Italy.

Representatives from Senai Videira and Caçador attended the event to engage with latest industrial innovations, automation systems, and productivity-enhancing technologies. The participation aimed to align regional industrial training with current market demands and technological advancements in plastic transformation.
