Interplayers Highlights Pharmacy Innovation at Brazil's Future Trends Event as Compounding Market Hits R$13.2 bn
Interplayers will take an active role at the Abrafarma Future Trends conference in Brazil, holding a booth (stand 90) and delivering two presentations on August 12 and 13. CEO Rodrigo Galesi will discuss the shift of pharmacies from simple dispensing to continuous care, while commercial manager Jauri Siqueira will address the transition of retail to health hubs and the limits of the transactional model. The company will showcase its Clinicarx solution and demonstrate partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers such as Apsene and Exeltis, as well as arrange visits to major chains like RD Saúde and Grupo DPSP.
Data presented at the same event by the Panorama Setorial 2026 study, compiled by Anfarmag and the Brazilian Institute of Planning and Taxation, show that Brazil’s compounding pharmacy sector grew to 9,320 establishments in 2025, an 11.1% increase over five years. Revenue reached R$13.2 billion, a real growth of 29.3% and well above national GDP growth, while tax collection hit a record R$1.82 billion. Employment rose to 69,300 workers, 79.8% of whom are women. The sector is adopting advanced technologies, including artificial‑intelligence tools and 3‑D printed medicines, to enhance personalized therapy.
