Interpol releases new album and performs at MEO Kalorama

New York City-based post-punk revival band Interpol has released a new album titled ‘This Mirror Weighs a Ton’. The release follows a period of musical evolution for the group, which has transitioned from its original lineup following the 2010 departure of bassist Carlos Dengler to a more contemplative and atmospheric sound in recent years.

To support their ongoing activity, the band performed at the MEO Kalorama festival in Portugal on August 28. The set included tracks from the new album and classic songs such as ‘C’mere’. The performance was characterized by the band’s signature stoic stage presence and the deep baritone vocals of Paul Banks.
