Interswitch Group sponsors MIPAN AGM to support Nigerian media evolution

Interswitch Group, a major African payments and digital commerce company, sponsored the Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN) Annual General Meeting held in Ogun State. The event focused on the theme ‘Monetising Tomorrow: Outpacing Disruption, Capturing Growth’.

During the meeting, Interswitch representatives emphasized the need for the media industry to embrace technological disruption rather than viewing it as a threat. Tomi Ogunlesi, Interswitch’s Divisional Head of Brands, Communications & CSR, noted that the convergence of media, technology, and marketing is redefining industry boundaries, such as agencies expanding into influencer networks and platforms evolving into media companies.
