Intertrade Hellas expands production with €100M investment

Intertrade Hellas has reported an increase in operating profitability despite a slight decline in turnover caused by falling international pulp prices. The group's turnover stood at €134.86 million, a 1.7% decrease, while EBITDA rose to €19.53 million. Net profits for the group reached €5.64 million, representing a significant increase compared to previous periods.

The company is currently in the final stages of a major investment project in Oinofyta exceeding €100 million. This project, classified as an “Emblematic Investment of Exceptional Importance,” includes the installation of a second paper machine, new processing units, storage facilities, and renewable energy infrastructure.

Upon completion, expected to be a milestone in 2026, the investment is projected to increase production capacity to 165,000 tons annually. The expansion aims to strengthen the group's export capabilities, which already reach over 28 countries, and enhance its long-term resilience and competitiveness within the European paper industry.
