Sharplink reports $394 million Q2 loss amid crypto volatility

Sharplink, Inc. reported a net loss of $394 million for the second quarter of 2026, a significant increase from the $103 million loss recorded in the same period the previous year. The loss was primarily driven by non-cash accounting charges related to the company’s extensive Ethereum (ETH) treasury, including $321 million in unrealized losses due to a decline in ETH prices and $76 million in impairments on liquid-staked Ether positions.

Despite the steep accounting loss, the company generated $11.5 million in revenue, largely through ETH staking, which contributed $11.2 million. Sharplink remains one of the largest publicly traded holders of Ethereum, with holdings valued at approximately $1.46 billion. CEO Joseph Chalom stated that the company remains active in treasury management and Ethereum ecosystem development to enhance the productivity of its assets.
