Inteva Products expands Opole plant with German production relocation

Inteva Products is expanding its manufacturing facility in Opole, Poland, following its acquisition of the plant from IAC Group in December 2025. The American automotive component manufacturer is investing several million PLN to modernize the site with new production lines, industrial robots, and large-scale plastic injection molding machines.

As part of this expansion, the company is relocating production processes from its Plattling plant in Germany to the Opole facility. This move is intended to prepare the plant for a major project involving the production of complete front panels for the electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz, scheduled to begin in 2028.

To support these developments, Inteva Products plans to increase its local workforce from 550 to nearly 600 employees. Plant Director Robert Jędrzejak noted that the facility has established a new management team composed of local professionals and has promoted five engineers to managerial roles.
