Intracom Defense appoints Lykourgos Antonopoulos as CEO

Intracom Defense (IDE), a member of the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) group, has announced the appointment of Lykourgos Antonopoulos as its new Chief Executive Officer. The move is intended to initiate a new phase of growth for the company, focusing on strengthening its position as a leading Greek defense technology firm.

Strategic priorities for IDE under the new leadership include expanding its international presence, accelerating innovation, and enhancing capabilities in the design and implementation of integrated defense solutions and advanced technologies.

Antonopoulos brings over 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the technology sector. His professional background includes serving as General Manager of Commercial Activities for the Corporate Customer sector at COSMOTE TELEKOM, where he played a key role in developing the group's ICT business unit and expanding its operations beyond Greece.
