Intrant opens new driver's license office in Moca

The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant) has officially opened a new driver's license issuance and renewal office in Moca, Espaillat province. The facility is expected to benefit approximately 70,000 citizens in Moca and surrounding areas.

Located at Plaza Estela on Juan Pablo Duarte Avenue, the office has an operational capacity to issue up to 200 licenses per day. Services provided by the multidisciplinary team include license issuance and renewal, registration, fingerprinting, photography, theoretical and practical driving exams, visual evaluations, and road safety education talks.

Intrant Executive Director Juan Manuel Méndez García stated that the opening aims to decentralize services, reduce waiting times, and expand operational coverage. This marks the second such office opened under Méndez's leadership, following a previous opening in Cotuí.
