Invías Director launches regional infrastructure initiative in Colombia

Juan Camilo Ostos Romero, the Director General of the National Institute of Roads (Invías), has launched the ‘Invías Territorio’ initiative. The program aims to strengthen the institution's presence in various regions by engaging directly with local communities to address infrastructure needs.

The initiative commenced in Villavicencio, where Ostos met with Meta Governor Rafaela Cortés and 29 mayors. The meeting included representatives from academic, productive, and community sectors to identify infrastructure priorities and establish a roadmap for connectivity, mobility, and national development over the next four years.
