Inventec invests $450 million in Ciudad Juárez, creating 6,000 jobs

Inventec, a multinational firm in artificial intelligence, high‑performance servers and semiconductor‑related technology, announced a $450 million expansion project in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. The investment is expected to generate up to 6,000 high‑value jobs in the region.

The ceremony to lay the project's first stone was attended by state officials, including Governor Maru Campos and Secretary of Innovation and Economic Development Ulises Fernández, who said the reinvestment reflects confidence in the local talent pool, competitiveness and legal certainty. Fernández highlighted the administration’s efforts to create conditions that attract and retain companies.

Company representatives such as global manufacturing vice‑president Arch Chen and North America operations director Roger Liao were also present, underscoring Inventec’s commitment to strengthening its alliance with Chihuahua.
