Inveraray former bank approved for conversion into short-term lets
Argyll and Bute Council has granted planning permission to convert a former Royal Bank of Scotland building in Inveraray into three short-term letting units. Located at Campbell House in Church Square, the three-storey sandstone building will be brought under the management of Brambles of Inveraray.
The development will consist of two one-bedroom units and one three-bedroom unit. The project includes the creation of a car park with three spaces at the front of the building, featuring a stone boundary and coloured tarmac.
While Transport Scotland initially raised concerns regarding the use of gravel and bollards in the original design, the applicants submitted a revised plan using coloured tarmac and private parking signage. Transport Scotland subsequently raised no objections to the revised proposal.
