Inveruno community mourns passing of Giulio Ghiringhelli

Local leaders in Inveruno and Furato have expressed grief following the passing of Giulio Ghiringhelli, a prominent community figure and owner of the historic restaurant Il Piatto D’Oro.

Regional Councilor Silvia Scurati and Vincenzo Grande, head of the Insieme per Inveruno e Furato list, honored Ghiringhelli’s legacy. Scurati noted that Ghiringhelli was awarded the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica in 2024 and highlighted his role in establishing a recognized historical business through years of dedication. Grande described him as a local institution who provided a welcoming environment for the community.
