CTS Eventim shares fluctuate following sudden CFO departure
Several biotechnology and event marketing companies are experiencing significant leadership changes and market volatility.
CTS Eventim saw its shares drop to levels not seen since late 2022 following the sudden departure of CFO William Willms, who had held the position since the start of 2026. While the stock initially faced a decline of up to 14.5 percent, it partially recovered after CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg purchased approximately ten million euros worth of company shares. Philipp Knigge will serve as the interim CFO.
In the biotech sector, Evotec SE announced that Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Cord Dohrmann will step down on September 30, 2026, after 16 years with the company. Despite the leadership change, Evotec's stock showed signs of stability.
Other notable movements include Iambic Therapeutics filing for a Nasdaq IPO to fund its AI-driven cancer drug development, and Inventiva reporting H1 results as it awaits Phase 3 clinical trial data for its MASH treatment. Additionally, Eve Holding, Inc. reached a new 52-week low in mid-day trading.
