Investigation Discovery announces docuseries on serial killer's survivor and ex-wife

Investigation Discovery has announced a new three-part docuseries titled ‘The Serial Killer Connection’, scheduled to premiere on October 7, 2026. The series follows the unexpected partnership between Bonnie Lou, the former wife of serial killer Richard ‘Marc’ Evonitz, and Kara Robinson Chamberlain, a survivor who escaped captivity after being abducted by Evonitz at age 15.

United by their shared connection to Evonitz, the two women aim to use their collective knowledge and online communities to investigate potential new victims and uncover the full scope of his crimes. While previous media coverage has addressed the case individually, this series marks the first time the survivor and the ex-wife have joined forces to pursue answers regarding the man's criminal history.
