Investigation into Polish training academy subsidies
An investigation has raised questions regarding the Academy of Support (Akademia Wsparcia) and the distribution of public funds for training programs across three Polish provinces: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Pomorskie, and Warmińsko-Mazurskie.
Reports indicate that the Association ‘Dorośli-Dzieciom’ in Sępólno Krajeńskie received approximately 3.7 million PLN in subsidies for tasks in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. Additionally, the University of Economics (WSG) received over 7 million PLN for projects in Pomerania and approximately 2.66 million PLN for Warmia and Mazury. In total, these two entities were granted over 13.3 million PLN for separate projects.
The inquiry was prompted by social media interactions between training leaders and participating facilities. While a comment on Facebook expressed gratitude for inspiring training, the scale of the funding has led to questions regarding the efficiency and oversight of these public subsidies, though no specific misuse of funds has been confirmed.
