Tattoo artist Leandro Perboni shot dead after video‑call inside his Sorriso studio

Leandro Perboni, a 44‑year‑old tattoo artist, was killed by gunfire on Saturday afternoon in Sorriso, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Three armed men entered his home, forced him into his tattoo studio, used his phone to make a video call, and then dragged him outside where they shot him multiple times. A 34‑year‑old man who was also present was wounded but survived. Police recovered the suspects’ vehicle – a black Gol with an app‑service sticker – and are searching for the perpetrators.

The incident was reported by the local police and fire services, who confirmed Perboni’s death at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities seeking witnesses and any surveillance footage that could identify the attackers.
