Investors shift stakes in Arista Networks and American Express
Institutional investors adjusted their holdings in two major U.S.-listed companies. Inspire Investing LLC increased its position in Arista Networks, Inc. (NYSE:ANET) by 11.9% during the first quarter, bringing its ownership to 132,882 shares valued at roughly $16.3 million. Other firms such as QRG Capital Management, Jefferies Financial Group and Lighthouse Financial Services also added to their Arista positions in recent quarters.
Conversely, Patton Fund Management Inc. reduced its stake in American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) by 95.2% in the first quarter, leaving it with just 809 shares worth about $245,000. Several other investors made modest new positions in American Express during the fourth quarter, including Evolution Wealth Management and Caitong International Asset Management.
Both companies reported earnings in the recent quarter, with Arista posting $0.87 earnings per share on $2.71 billion revenue and American Express reporting $4.28 earnings per share on $14.21 billion revenue.
