Invictus Veterans Relay continues commemorative journey across Romania
The Invictus Veterans Relay, a national project for education, volunteering, and sport, continues its journey across Romania to honor the country's heroes and veterans. Initiated in 2014 by Invictus România, the relay aims to preserve historical memory and promote values such as respect, solidarity, and gratitude.
Following a route that began at the Heroes' Mausoleum in Focșani, the relay passed through Mărășești, Cosmești, Tecuci, and Munteni before reaching Bârlad. Participants, including military personnel and civilians, were met by local authorities and military members in Bârlad. The relay then proceeded from Bacău to Piatra Neamț, with local gendarmes joining the military and volunteers to carry the Romanian flag.
The Red Route is scheduled to continue through Iași, Botoșani, and Suceava, moving toward Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Vatra Dornei, Bistrița, Dej, Baia Mare, and finally concluding in Satu Mare on October 25.
