Invokyr survival horror game to enter early access on October 8

Shochiku Games has announced that the cooperative survival horror game ‘Invokyr’ (Japanese title: ‘Invokyr -Noroi no Dice Game-’) will enter early access on Steam on October 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM JST. Developed by the French team Ludogram, the game features a cursed board game setting where up to six players must navigate traps, monsters, and unpredictable events controlled by a mysterious ‘Game Master’.

Since its demo release in June, the game has surpassed 1 million downloads and maintains a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam. Gameplay mechanics include over 15 types of monsters, 20 different events, and 12 unique dice that can alter rules and situations. Players can also utilize ‘cursed statues’ for special abilities and purchase gadgets to survive, though powerful tools often carry significant risks. The game supports online multiplayer, allowing players to either cooperate or potentially abandon teammates to ensure their own survival.
