Inwi launches fiber optic initiative in Agadir

Telecommunications operator Inwi has launched the second edition of its ‘Fiber Optic Caravan’ in Agadir, Morocco. The initiative aims to integrate high-speed fiber optic technology into the construction phase of new residential and commercial buildings to ensure residents have immediate access to high-speed internet upon moving in.

The program focuses on training and raising awareness among professionals in the real estate, construction, and architecture sectors. Through workshops and roundtable discussions, the caravan addresses technical and regulatory challenges regarding telecommunications infrastructure and best practices for network deployment.

During the Agadir event, Inwi signed two significant partnership agreements: one with Moubina Immobilier to strengthen fiber optic presence in new developments, and another with the Southern Regional Council of Architects. Following Agadir, the caravan is scheduled to visit Casablanca and Tangier.
