IO Interactive releases free Extended Operations DLC for 007 First Light

IO Interactive has released a free DLC update titled ‘Extended Operations’ for its title 007 First Light, following the game reaching 4 million units sold. The update introduces a New Game+ mode, which allows players to replay the campaign with previously unlocked gadgets and outfits.

Completing the campaign also unlocks the ‘00’ difficulty level, a highly challenging mode where enemies react faster, tougher guard variants appear, and combat is more punishing, featuring two-hit kills and tighter timing for parries.

The update includes five new TacSim missions: four driving challenges featuring the Aston Martin Valhalla in the mountains of Slovakia, and a stealth mission set at The Pearl resort in Vietnam. Additional features include a Photo Mode, improved weapon-handling animations, and new enemy mechanics, such as the ability to throw Bond off ledges.
