Ioana Țiriac highlights Dubai's urban development and greenery

Ioana Țiriac, daughter of Ion Țiriac, has expressed her admiration for the rapid urban development and increasing greenery in Dubai. Despite the city's arid desert climate and high temperatures, Țiriac noted the emergence of new green spaces and artificial lakes, remarking on social media that “Dubai has greenery. The price is only per square meter.”

This environmental transformation is attributed to advanced infrastructure, including seawater desalination and water recycling processes used for large-scale irrigation.

Tennis player Sorana Cîrstea also resides in the region, spending approximately half of the year, particularly during the winter months, in Dubai. While Cîrstea has established residency in Abu Dhabi, she remains based in Dubai for much of her time abroad, though she maintains that Romania remains her home.
